My Homescreen

With our smart phones attached to our fingers 24/7, the homescreen is a pretty essential place of importance.  Here is mine and I may do multiple posts for this as it very well may change if an app comes out that could replace one of these above.  Here's a run down of my favorite apps and why I use them:

GroupMe:  GroupMe has really evolved since I last used it, which was about a year ago.  Perfect for connecting with family or specific groups of friends and just sending one message out to everyone.  Very handy app.

Fantastical:  Amazing.  Let me say this again... A-MAZ-ING!  Gorgeous app with a great user experience.  Simply type in what you need to schedule and it's added to your calendar.  I'm serious.  You can type in "Get a haircut next Tuesday at 3 p.m. at 'location' and BAM!  Fantastical adds it to your calendar.  Love it.

Google Maps:  We all know, Apple's Maps app was not the best.  Google's is just what we all wanted. :)

Vine:  Vine has been out for a few days now and I'm already hooked.  Still getting used to the 6 second video but I have some ideas ;)

Instagram:  Hard to find someone that has not heard of Instagram.  My favorite camera app.

Cheddar:  Tasks made simple.  This is a great app to keep up with your tasks.  I primarily use it for big projects I am working on.  What's amazing about it is that it syncs over-the-air with my other devices.  If I add something via my iPhone it's automatically syncs with my iPad and iMac.

Clear:  I am a fan of Clear as well which also manages tasks.  I use this if I am working on group projects.  Very cool, retro UI.

iTC Mobile:  As an app developer I need to keep up with my apps and this is the app to do it!

Path:  I think Path is going to make some impressive improvements this year.  I wish more of my close friends are on it but I'm giving it time.  Great app with a great design.

Twitter:  My favorite social network!

Facebook:  The whole world is pretty much on Facebook now.  I use it to keep up with my friends and family.

Foursquare:  Still love Foursquare and I still check-in to my favorite places!

Gmail:  The newest Gmail app by Google is incredible.  Great UX/UI.

Pandora:  I don't keep much music on my device so I stream it all through Pandora.

I would love to see what's on your home screen!  Post a screen shot of your home screen on my Facebook Page! Not on Facebook?  You can Tweet it to me as well!

If you have any questions you can always leave a comment :)
